About this project
Atlas has been a longtime client of mine. Working with their brand over the years as a designer and art director, I have focused on creating packaging and design materials that pay homage to Atlas’ part-steampunk, part-art nouveau style and, most of all, their quirky inventiveness. Each flagship and seasonal beer is designed around a creative object that is associated with the beer’s personality. In Dance of Days’ case, the object is a punk gramophone/heart aptly named a heartophone, which revels in the DC punk scene and plays to the lighter citrus notes of the pale ale. Each beer has a rollout campaign that can include t-shirts, coasters, posters, tap handles, social media graphics, and event branding.
Adding to the Atlas brand for me has meant a new alternate logo, Anniversary Party campaigns, event campaigns, distribution collateral, specialty beer design, and six beer designs.
