RVing gets a tune-up
About this project
FMCA’s magazine approached Bates with the need for a refresh in identity. Previously called Family Motor Coaching, the publication was undergoing a shift in membership and content to include trailers, aptly renaming to Family RVing. With a team of two other designers, I directed an identity that infused more youthful appeal to the nameplate and interior, as well as structuring departments and features to be infused with more of the fun, freeing benefits of owning an RV. The result was well-received and helped ease the transition to a larger membership base.
