About this project
For their 2018 Year in Review, Bainum wanted to discuss their year’s successes while celebrating their Foundation’s 50th Anniversary. The publication took the form of a special book, part report and part history. I paired a halftone-esque dot pattern with the foundation’s vintage photos, and repeated an image of the Arlington Memorial Bridge on the cutout sleeve as well as the background to call attention to the founder’s initial path into DC. The result was a colorful homage to the valuable work Bainum has done in DC over the past 50 years.
